An Event Venue for Meaningful Gatherings

From September through May, Big Sky Bible Camp welcomes guest groups to host retreats, conferences, trainings, reunions, and special events on our lake front property near Bigfork, Montana. Groups can reserve lodging, meeting spaces, and optional activities or food services to build a retreat that fits their needs.

With flexible facilities, comfortable accommodations, and facilities designed for both large and small gatherings, Big Sky Bible Camp offers a well-equipped and welcoming setting for your next event.

A Scenic Retreat Setting Near Glacier National Park

Big Sky Bible Camp is located just outside Bigfork, Montana, about an hour from Glacier National Park. Situated on nearly 200 acres overlooking Peterson Lake and framed by the majestic Swan Mountains, our property offers a peaceful, private setting that feels set apar while still being easily accessible.

For guest groups, that means you can host your retreat or event in a setting that’s both beautiful and purpose-built to meet your needs. Churches, schools, families, and organizations nationwide consider us a home-away-from-home!

Up to 100 guests in winter and up to 150 guests in spring/fall.

Key meeting & gathering spaces (high-level)

Peterson Lake Lodge: 12,000 sq. ft., seating up to 240 in our dining hall (300 including our Fireside Room); mountain and lakeside views; includes a full dining room, commercial kitchen, coffee lounge with stone fireplace, and a conference/meeting room.
Traber Chapel: multipurpose building with seating up to 150, plus sound system and TV's for display. LCD projector and pull-down screen are accessible.
Aeneas Lodge: dining hall seats 50+ comfortably with a commercial kitchen; basement multipurpose room can serve as a conference room or game room.

Lodging for Your Event

Dorms: two dorms; each dorm has 4 bedrooms sleeping 12 each (bunk-bed style) with a bathroom and shower in every room; day rooms and balconies overlooking Peterson Lake.
Crater Cottage: great for small families, retreat speakers, or guests with physical limitations; each floor includes two bedrooms with queen beds, a full bathroom, and a furnished living room area.
Outback: 6 cabins (four sleep 10 bunk-bed style; two have one queen bed), plus a bathhouse; also a good area for tents/RVs with limited RV hookups.

One of the unique benefits of hosting your event at Big Sky Bible Camp is the ability to build an experience that fits your group’s goals. From team-building opportunities like our ropes course to recreational options such as field games, waterfront activities, and indoor gathering spaces, there are a variety of ways to enrich your time together.

Bounce House ($250 flat fee for up to 4 hours of usage)

Food Services for Guest Groups

Planning meals for a retreat can be stressful—Big Sky can help. Guest groups can choose to use a kitchen and cook for themselves or request our staff to cook for your group. When BSBC prepares meals, you choose the meal times and our cooks will have food hot and ready so you can invest your energy into the retreat.
Final attendance numbers and allergy information must be submitted two (2) weeks prior to arrival.
Meals are served in the Peterson Lake Lodge Dining Room.
Standard meal times: Breakfast 8:30 AM, Lunch 12:30 PM, Dinner 5:30 PM (adjustable by request).
The kitchen can accommodate gluten and dairy allergies. All allergies must be communicated in advance, and accommodations beyond gluten and dairy cannot be guaranteed.
Late submission of dietary information may result in additional charges and an inability to provide adequate meals for your allergysensitive attendees.

Pastor Getaway

(Free 2-night stay)

As a part of Big Sky Bible Camp's desire to serve the Christian community, we offer a free two night getaway to pastors and those employed in Christian ministry. We invite you to take advantage of Big Sky's beautiful location and gain some much needed rest and relaxation.

Pastor getaways are typically hosted in Crater Cottage (mini fridge, microwave, Keurig), and guests may use the kitchen/dining hall if they’d like to cook their own meals.
